The Munich-based start-up curingshot<\/a> produces a ginger shot with turmeric, orange, and pepper\u2014vegan, cold-pressed, and additive-free. What makes it special? We asked founder Tobias Spiethaler our 7 questions.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Who are you and what do you do? Please briefly introduce yourself and your product!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I used to be a competitive athlete but had to give it up due to health reasons. Afterward, I focused a lot on nutrition to get back on track naturally. Ginger and turmeric were a huge part of my recipe for success.<\/p>\n

What's special about curingshot is that we've designed our recipe not only for great taste, but also for full functionality. Ginger wasn't named the Medicinal Plant of the Year in 2018 for nothing. Turmeric perfectly complements the whole, while orange rounds out the flavor experience and is the perfect source of vitamin C.<\/p>\n

2. But that already exists<\/strong>t!<\/p>\n

The juices available on the market,<\/strong> are often designed solely for good taste. It's very important to us that our recipes are well-founded!<\/p>\n

Now I have to take advantage of this opportunity: ginger, turmeric and pepper.<\/p>\n

There's always room for improvement! We're currently working on steadily expanding our retail partners and have already achieved initial success with them, such as Feinkost K\u00e4fer and Karstadt.<\/p>\n

5. What does Munich mean to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition to offering a wonderful lifestyle, Munich also offers a very strong economic base. We are very pleased to have found all of our important partners in the Munich area.<\/p>\n

No quote describes the personal connection to Munich as well as that of Countess zu Reventlow (can actually be extended to the whole city) \u201cSchwabing is not a place, but a state\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n

6. How will your startup become the next unicorn? Or will we see you soon at Epic Fail Night?<\/strong><\/p>\n

That remains to be seen.<\/p>\n
