The capital is provided by a consortium of private investors, including Bernd Wendeln and Herbert Henzler. The financing round was prepared by BayStartUP. Business angels and MicroNova AG had already invested in the company in an earlier round.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Temedica develops digital solutions to support medical therapies and preventative healthcare. The company plans to use the funding from this round to expand its partnerships with health insurance companies and expand its product portfolio. Demand for digitalization solutions for the healthcare market is growing worldwide. Experts already estimate revenue in the European digital healthcare market at nearly \u20ac2.1 billion.<\/p>\n<h3>The networking of doctor and patient<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"\/en\/23064\/temedica-7-questions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Temedica<\/a> was founded in Munich in 2016 under the name physiovia GmbH and has quickly established itself in the German healthcare market. The company offers digital solutions to improve patient care in the areas of therapy and prevention. The &quot;physiovia&quot; app connects doctors and patients: The patient receives a personalized home exercise plan that accompanies them during and beyond their therapy with therapy-supporting activities and medical background knowledge. At the same time, doctors and therapists can track the patient&#039;s individual recovery progress and adjust the therapy as needed.<\/p>\n<p>With &quot;pelvina,&quot; the startup also offers a digital healthcare program that contributes to the prevention of urinary incontinence in women. According to Temedica, more efficient therapies and sustainable prevention can result in significant long-term savings in healthcare costs.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&quot;Digitalization has become an integral part of the healthcare market, and the need for corresponding solutions is growing day by day.
