The Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) investigated this question and surveyed around 300 young entrepreneurs. The results were summarized in a catalog of measures and presented by the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The expansion of digital infrastructure, the establishment of one-stop shops, and the reduction of tax bureaucracy \u2013 300 young entrepreneurs provided clear answers to the question of what needs to be improved in Germany as a startup location. The resulting catalog of measures was presented by the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK).<\/p>\n<h3>Politics is called upon<\/h3>\n<p>Despite the increasing number of visitors to its Founders\u2019 Days 2016, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) sees a need for action.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&quot;Many interested parties do not go any further after the first &#039;look in&#039;,&quot;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>as DIHK General Manager <strong>Martin Wansleben<\/strong> reported to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. This is reflected, for example, in the rather declining number of concrete consultations held at the Chambers of Industry and Commerce.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIn order to close this gap, politics is also required,\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>emphasized the DIHK Managing Director.<\/p>\n<h3>Desired: Easier access to equity capital<\/h3>\n<p>The first priority on this startup agenda for Germany is a significant simplification of applications for public funding, followed by a reduction in the complexity of taxation and easier access to equity capital.<\/p>\n<p>According to Wansleben, a good 900 million euros are invested in venture capital in Germany annually.
