It's probably well known that the Munich-based muesli moguls at Mymuesli now offer far more than just individual muesli blends. In addition to products such as juice oranges, tea, and coffee, which are sold under their own brands, a new specialty is now expanding their product range: the Nilk.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The term is derived from the combination of "no" and "milk." This milk alternative, which offers significant added value especially for vegans and allergy sufferers, comes in two flavors: firstly, the founders now offer oat milk, now a classic on organic supermarket shelves, and secondly, a "non-milk" based on pea protein.<\/p>\n

Quality that has its price<\/h3>\n

Now, Mymuesli is certainly not the first provider of milk alternatives. Co-founder Max Wittrock explains why they decided to take this step. startup scene<\/em> as follows:<\/p>\n

"Our muesli friends have been asking us more and more often if we know of a good alternative to milk. While there are many milk alternatives, we haven't found any of them particularly good."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If the founders of Mymuesli are to be believed, Nilk contains more nutrients, such as protein, fiber, and omega-3 fatty acids, than other milk substitutes. They brought nutrition and beverage experts on board to develop Nilk.<\/p>\n

So much for quality. Now there's the question of price: the conscious non-dairy drinker has to shell out a whopping \u20ac3.99 if they want to treat themselves to a liter of Nilk. That's more than twice as much as other providers. Whether the concept will work remains to be seen.
