Founded in 2008, the company manufactures components and systems in the field of 3D coordinate measuring technology for industrial, medical, and scientific purposes. Wenglor intends to expand its 3D measuring technology portfolio through the acquisition.<\/p>\n<h3>Shaping the transformation to Industry 4.0 together<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Dr. Matthias Rottenkolber<\/strong>, Managing Director of ShapeDrive GmbH, says about the takeover:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&quot;We can&#039;t wait to work with wenglor. The company has an excellent, internationally oriented sales network and well-developed production capacities. In the coming years, the path to Industry 4.0 will significantly change the industrial landscape \u2013 particularly due to the increased level of automation, big data, and increasing networking in production.
