On April 20, OrganicM<\/sup><\/a> at the annual conference of the nationwide program \u201cgo-cluster\u201d the award \u201cCluster Success 2017\u201d for its startup accelerator inQLab<\/i>This offers comprehensive support to founders in the life sciences sector.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

For 20 years, Bio has supportedM<\/sup> both small and medium-sized enterprises and biotechnology startups. With the help of the Leading-Edge Cluster funding, the offerings for startups were significantly expanded and combined with the m4<\/sup> Award, a pre-start-up competition for the medicine of the future was launched. This is now firmly anchored in the Bavarian budget and awards annually 2.5 million euros<\/strong> to academic founding teams.<\/p>\n

Virtual startup accelerator for the medicine of the future<\/h3>\n

In addition, further offerings have been developed, which together form a virtual startup accelerator for the medicine of the future: The Mentor Circle<\/a> offers a pool of around 50 experienced biotech and pharmaceutical experts who provide voluntary support to prospective and young entrepreneurs. In an intensive training format BioEntrepreneur Bootcamp<\/a> Founding teams can evaluate their business idea, get in touch with their first customers and key players, and meet industry and investor representatives. Pitch Doctor<\/a>-Sessions, founding teams refine their presentation and receive open, constructive feedback.<\/p>\n

First BioEntrepreneurship Summit in October<\/h3>\n

In 2016, the BioEntrepreneur Lounge<\/a>, which offers founders the opportunity to exchange ideas and learn from experienced founders four to five times a year. BioAngels<\/a>The network launched in 2017 with an event where six pre-selected startup teams had the opportunity to present their business ideas to around 30 investor representatives.
