The venture capital company btov<\/a> invests a mid-six-figure sum in TargetVideo<\/a>The young media company is using the fresh capital to expand its brand portfolio: The online magazine HELLO:PARENTS<\/a> is aimed at expectant and young parents of the mobile & social media generation. In addition to a new logo, the site was visually and technically redesigned following the acquisition of TargetVideo and filled with specially produced video content.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After launching its own online magazines, the Munich-based startup is taking over Hallo-Eltern.de, an established website that receives around one million monthly visits. The platform will be financed through advertising and the licensing of video content to selected publishing partners who benefit from the portal's high-quality reach. In addition to traditional display and video advertising formats, HALLO:ELTERN also offers customized, content-related integration options in the areas of advertorials, branded entertainment, and native video advertising.<\/p>\n

The international market for online videos is on the rise: Cisco estimates that by 2020, approximately 80 percent of all internet traffic will be videos (up from 63 percent in 2015). Nearly one million minutes of video material will traverse the internet every second.
