The Business Angels Network Germany eV (BAND) is honoring the 2017<\/strong><strong>the \u201cBusiness Angel of the Year\u201d for the 17th time.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>How does a business angel make a fortune?<\/h3>\n<p>To even be considered for the award, a business angel must support &quot;his&quot; startup not only with an investment but also with their own network and extensive expertise. And, of course, initial exit successes don&#039;t hurt.<\/p>\n<h3>Startups, suggest your business angel!<\/h3>\n<p>Startups in which the angel investor has invested may submit proposals for the &quot;Business Angel 2017&quot; award. The proposal should clearly state what the young entrepreneurs particularly value about working with &quot;their&quot; business angel. Another possible quality feature: if the same investor is nominated by multiple startups at the same time. At the very least, this would indicate that the startups feel well looked after by their angel investor.<\/p>\n<h3>How does the application process for the \u201cGolden Nose\u201d work?<\/h3>\n<p>Only angels with investments that\u00a0<strong><em> after<\/em> <\/strong>made before December 31, 2012. The following information must be provided for the application:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Short profile of the proposing company including contact details<\/li>\n<li>Contact details of the angel investor (the investor must be resident in Germany)<\/li>\n<li>What makes the business angel special?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Telling success stories<\/h3>\n<p>The &quot;Golden Nose&quot; award is presented by a select jury consisting of members of the &quot;BAND Heaven of Fame&quot; and stakeholders in the ecosystem. The winner will be honored at the &quot;Business Angel Community Summit 2017&quot; on August 23-24. The goal of the award? To share the success stories of experienced angels!
