Act for Impact is a funding program for (aspiring) social entrepreneurs in the fields of education and integration in German-speaking countries. This year, the competition is being held for the fifth time. All interested parties have until April 2, 2017, to submit their applications.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Together with the Education and Society Foundation and the Vodafone Institute for Society and Communication, Act for Impact<\/a> This year, we are once again honoring social startups for their innovative projects in the field of education and integration. Dr. Birgit Ossenkopf<\/strong>, Deputy Managing Director of the Education and Society Foundation, is looking forward to the new round:<\/p>\n

"The Act for Impact funding program has produced excellent social entrepreneurial initiatives in recent years. All award-winning initiatives have the potential to shape our society sustainably through education. The program thus addresses a key focus of the Education and Society Foundation, and we are pleased to join this experienced group of partners as a sponsor, supporting Act for Impact in its impact and reach within the community and working together to further develop it."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Prize money and advice await<\/h3>\n

Five startups will ultimately be selected from all applications received to present themselves and their ideas at the final in Munich on June 22, 2017.<\/p>\n

This gives you the chance to win the main prize, which consists of 40,000 euros prize money<\/strong> and inclusion in the exclusive start-up support program of the Social Entrepreneurship Akademie<\/a> The second-place team will receive \u20ac5,000 in prize money. In addition, a public vote on Facebook will determine the Audience Award winner, who will receive \u20ac3,000. In addition to the chance to win the sponsorship award and start-up consulting from Social Entrepreneurship Akademie, all 15 teams in the running for the Audience Award will receive tips and suggestions for their project idea.<\/p>\n
