THE VENTURE<\/strong> is designed as a startup competition based on the principle of "Patent seeks founder." Students, graduates, and other startup enthusiasts from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland develop business models based on predefined patents and technologies.<\/p>\n

\u00a9 THE VENTURE<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Within three months, patent-based applications will be developed into business models, which can and should ultimately lead to startups. The technologies currently available include a car-sharing technology as a "mobile phone-to-car gateway," identification of 3D-printed objects, and more.<\/p>\n

Too many ideas and technologies remain unused<\/h3>\n

The daily struggle of large and small companies with patents shows that many market-ready technologies often remain unused \u2013 and with them, unique products. In response, the startup competition THE VENTURE has been launched.<\/p>\n

Individuals and teams are invited to found a startup based on existing patents and given technologies.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Applications are still possible until mid-August
\n\u2022 More than 60 universities and colleges are already participating
\n\u2022 Over 60 teams and founders will compete for the best business models
\n\u2022 Association Founding Angel<\/strong><\/a> supports innovative patent-based business model contest<\/p>\n

The application deadline is August 15, 2015<\/strong>; the final pitch will take place in early December 2015. Partner of the Business Model Contest THE VENTURE is, among others, the SCE<\/a>.<\/p>\n
