For the fifth time, the event will feature around 60 events focusing on digital topics.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cConnect and shape the digital future together\u201d<\/em> \u2013 In the context of more than 60 independently organized events on digital topics, Munich organizations, companies, clubs and associations, freelancers and artists will show how Munich is helping to shape the digital space during Web Week.<\/p>\n<p>Topics for beginners can be found as well as events for digital professionals. The Munich Web Week sees itself as a decentralized Internet congress and has grown successfully over the past five years. Professor Wolf Gro\u00df, co-initiator of the Munich Web Week and President of<a href=\"http:\/\/isarnetz.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Isarnetz eV<\/a>, explained:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&quot;We are proud that we have once again been able to put together an exciting program for all Munich residents for the fifth edition of our theme week. The Munich Web Week is intended to be a showcase of the digital scene and, at the same time, bring people together.&quot;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>Town Hall Reception and Awards<\/h3>\n<p>The central event of the Munich Web Week in 2016 is again the <strong>traditional town hall reception<\/strong>, which this time takes place on November 3rd. At the invitation of the City of Munich, young professionals, founders, major entrepreneurs, bloggers and many more will meet to get to know each other and discuss digital topics. The keynote speech on Digital Leadership will be given by Christiane Brandes-Visbeck, management consultant, author and head of the Hamburg chapter of Digital Media Women. The evening reception will also feature the<strong> Isarnetz Blog Award<\/strong> for which there are already more than 200 nominations.<\/p>\n<h3>Event fireworks in Munich<\/h3>\n<p>The more than 60 events deal with the most diverse aspects of the digital future. <strong>Five highlights<\/strong> the Munich Web Week 2016:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The<strong> <a href=\"\/en\/event\/isarcamp\/\">Isarcamp<\/a><\/strong> On November 5, the event will feature keynote speeches from M-Net and Uniscon, among others. But then the visitors will take center stage, creating their own agenda and delivering presentations and sessions themselves.<\/li>\n<li>At the<strong> Usability Day<\/strong> For example, the focus is on interdisciplinary exchange about industry trends.<\/li>\n<li>The pedagogical <strong>Interactive Prize P\u00e4di 2016<\/strong> is dedicated to the users of tomorrow and, among other things, recognizes apps, games and websites that are educationally valuable for children and young people.<\/li>\n<li>Meanwhile, around 150 experienced analysts will be <strong>Future<\/strong> expected to discuss Germany&#039;s future prospects.<\/li>\n<li>Startups are already a powerful driver of the digital industry. Visitors can get an overview of this market sector at the <strong><a href=\"\/en\/event\/8-munich-startup-demo-night\/\">Start-Up Demo Night<\/a><\/strong> obtain.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Visitors can find information about all events in the event calendar on the Munich Web Week website.
