The SCE <\/a>is hosting its E'ship Day and combining a whole series of events: The finalists of the EU-XCEL accelerator program presented themselves at a trade fair. In addition, both the Strascheg Awards and the EU-XCEL Special Prize were presented.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As the German partner of the virtual European accelerator EU-XCEL, the Munich University of Applied Sciences and the SCE hosted the finals. The finalist teams presented themselves and their business ideas at a trade fair in the "Red Cube."<\/p>\n

Nina Wiegers, gondolaa<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

One of the teams is developing the project management tool gondolaa. Co-founder Nina Wiegers says:<\/p>\n

"It's exciting to see what the other teams are doing on site. Maybe we can even form partnerships."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

On a smaller side stage, 20 teams presented themselves and their business ideas in two-minute pitches. The audience then voted for the winners: Mahoo won, followed by POD and CodeAPI. Interested parties were able to make new contacts during speed networking.<\/p>\n

Later, the celebration, accompanied by the Frankfurt drum team Drum Conversation<\/a>, was opened. Afterwards, the special prizes for the EU-XCEL program were awarded: Third place went to\u00a0 DOCYET<\/strong>The team is developing a mobile assistant that helps users with health problems while traveling. Second place, worth 2,000 euros, goes to Drive brands<\/strong> with their concept of advertising on private cars. First place and 5,000 euros go to Mahoo<\/strong>who want to revolutionize the car parts market.<\/p>\n

Nine winners of the Strascheg Award<\/h3>\n

The founders Renate and Falk Strascheg <\/strong>then awarded in three categories the Strascheg Award<\/strong>The prizes total \u20ac30,000: first place winners receive \u20ac5,000, second place winners receive \u20ac3,000, and third place winners receive \u20ac2,000. All winners will also receive six months of support and advice from the SCE.
\n<\/u><\/p>\n

The price for the \u201cbest business idea from a course \u201c <\/strong>awards prizes to students and alumni who developed their ideas as part of a course at Munich University of Applied Sciences or SCE. First place went to EXO<\/strong>, a semi-mechanical exoskeleton with sensors for nurses and other professions involving heavy physical labor. Second place goes to Alert<\/strong>, a personalized, acoustic anti-theft device for securing bags, tool boxes or even bicycles. The intelligent delineator<\/strong>\u00a0 monitors the edge area and parts of the road and takes third place.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

The "best student business idea<\/strong>\u201c can also be created outside of a course. The main prize goes to Apicbeam<\/strong>The team developed a one-dimensional light line that can reproduce multidimensional image information. The algorithm Samplerfy <\/strong>is intended to enable anyone\u2014even without prior musical knowledge\u2014to produce music and is awarded second place. Third place goes to Wrap Club, <\/strong>which, like drive brands, advertise on private cars.<\/p>\n

Applied scientific projects could compete for the prize as \u201cbest scientific business idea<\/strong>\u201c Here, DeepVision. <\/strong>The team is working on a portable way to depict moving objects in 3D. RC Radius Head Prosthesis<\/strong>, a minimally invasive implant for the elbow, comes in second place.
