Bits & Pretzels goes Hollywood, or rather, Hollywood goes Bits & Pretzels. The opening keynote speech for this year's startup festival will be delivered by none other than Oscar winner, author, producer, and tech investor Kevin Spacey. In addition to Sir Richard Branson, the creators of Bits & Pretzels have secured another high-profile, international speaker for the three-day startup event.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kevin Spacey, known from films such as \u201cAmerican Beauty\u201d, \u201cSeven\u201d and \u201cLA Confidential\u201d, has already won two Oscars and in 2013 took on the role of Congressman Frank Underwood in the Netflix series \u201cHouse of Cards\u201d, for which he received Golden Globe and SAG Awards.<\/p>\n

Kevin Spacey: Actor, Speaker, Investor<\/h3>\n

What many people don\u2019t know, however, is that in addition to his success in the film industry, Spacey is Internet investor for various technology companies<\/strong> active. A sought-after speaker at tech conferences worldwide, he also captivated audiences at the World Economic Forum in Davos earlier this year, where he spoke about the art of storytelling and its role in the future of technology.<\/p>\n

Kevin Spacey will perform on the first day of the event at the International Congress Center in Munich and will close the conference with a 30-minute keynote<\/strong> Afterwards he will Ask the founders questions for 15 minutes<\/strong>The three-day founders' festival couldn't have opened in a more Oscar-worthy manner.<\/p>\n

Bits & Pretzels will take place this year from September 25th to 27th, 2016. On the first two days of the conference at the International Congress Center in Munich, participants can look forward to an exciting supporting program of keynotes, workshops, panel discussions, and a startup competition, while day 3 invites the startup scene to network at the Oktoberfest.<\/p>\n
