This is the largest Series A funding round in Europe to date. <a href=\"\/en\/day\/new-space\/\">New Space sector<\/a>Human Element is leading the round. Other investors include Alpine Space Ventures, Bayern Kapital, the High-Tech Gr\u00fcnderfonds (HTGF), and Renovatio Financial Investments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reflex plans to use the capital to expand its production capacity in Bavaria. The startup, headquartered in Munich and Berlin, develops and produces <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reflexaerospace.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">High-performance satellite platforms<\/a>These are so-called satellite buses, which are tailored to the individual requirements of customers. The goal is to manufacture satellites faster and more flexibly in order to serve applications in communication, earth observation or data analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Expansion in Munich<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Reflex Aerospace uses its &quot;Praetora&quot; platform for production. This platform enables the rapid development of new satellite types and is based on modern methods such as generative design and additive manufacturing. The company operates a &quot;micro factory&quot; in Munich, which allows for shorter production cycles. This facility will be expanded with the new funding to enable the realization of larger constellations, for example in the telecommunications sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe are delighted to have convinced numerous renowned investors of our technology during our Series A financing round \u2013 the largest in the European New Space sector to date. Europe cannot afford to remain dependent on external players in this area, which is why we are already investing in our manufacturing capacities and working with the best partners in their respective fields \u2013 and we are acting now, because there is no time to lose.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>says <strong>Walter Ballheimer<\/strong>, CEO of Reflex Aerospace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reflex Aerospace: Development until 2027<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The company aims to have all its capabilities operational and demonstrated in orbit within two years. The rapid scaling of recent years has also convinced numerous investors. <strong>Monika Steger<\/strong>, Managing Director of Bayern Kapital, comments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe have been supporting Reflex Aerospace since its extended seed funding round in 2023. Since then, the company has commissioned its micro factory in Munich, and in January 2025, the first Reflex Aerospace satellite, \u201cSIGI,\u201d was launched into space aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. The company has demonstrated that it possesses the technological know-how and capacity to meet the continuously increasing demand for specialized satellites in Europe, making it a promising investment for us.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>And <strong>Christian Ziach<\/strong>, Principal at HTGF, says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cReflex addresses precisely the capabilities that Europe needs right now \u2013 rapidly scalable, mission-critical satellite platforms.
