Fabian Beringer, Founder:<\/em> Vidlab7 is the Automation engine for sales demos and pitches<\/a>With us, companies increase their conversion rates many times over, acquire more qualified leads, fill their pipelines more efficiently, and secure predictable revenue. The story behind Vidlab7: From e-bot7 to sales automation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Munich Startup:<\/em> What is your founding story?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fabian Beringer:<\/em> During my studies in 2016, I had my first AI company E-bot7<\/a> Our mission was to help companies improve their customer service through the use of AI. We ended up working with over 200 clients across Europe and were acquired by a NASDAQ-listed US company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this time, we faced the same challenges every day: extremely high marketing costs, low conversion rates, unqualified leads, and excessive sales costs \u2013 factors that placed a massive strain on margins. As a founder, it was clear to me: This problem had to be solved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is precisely where Vidlab7 comes in. Our solution relieves sales teams, increases marketing efficiency, and brings prospects into the product immediately. We instantly transform inbound traffic into qualified pipelines and revenue \u2013 with an approach that digitally replicates the human demo experience one-to-one, yet is fully automated, scalable, and available 24\/7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Munich Startup:<\/em> What have been your biggest challenges so far?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fabian Beringer:<\/em> The biggest challenge was finding the balance between automation and human touch. Our solution had to be scalable, build trust, and deliver real business value. Equally important was maximum simplicity in setup\u2014ready to use immediately without any technical expertise. As a result, customers see rapid ROI, measurable conversion increases, and no more lost leads. Now we have the "human" aspect with the avatar, the perfect content with demos and pitches, and optimal execution with AI agents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Munich Startup:<\/em> How are things going?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fabian Beringer:<\/em> We're already working with renowned German and international enterprise clients and have launched the first insurance avatar in Europe. At the same time, we're seeing a sharp increase in inbound flow from software and SaaS companies that want to scale but can't invest in expensive sales teams. Vidlab7<\/a> Our customers achieve two to three times more pipeline from the same traffic, four times more demos without scheduling barriers and significantly higher conversion rates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Munich as a location: talents, investors, tech hubs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Munich Startup:<\/em> Where would you like to be in one year, where in five years?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fabian Behringer:<\/em> In one year, we aim to set the standard for automated sales demos in Europe. In five years, we see ourselves as the leading platform for AI sales demo automation across the entire sales funnel \u2013 from the first touchpoint to contract closure. Our goal: revenue growth for our customers without additional headcount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Munich Startup:<\/em> How have you experienced Munich as a startup location so far?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fabian Beringer:<\/em> I'm from Munich myself and have already traveled extensively, for which I'm very grateful. Munich offers strong access to talent, investors, and companies. At the same time, we benefit from our proximity to international tech and sales hubs and the Technical University of Munich (TUM) as a driving force for innovation. Clients here particularly value the rapid implementation, measurable results, and close collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Munich Startup:<\/em> Outsource or do it yourself?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fabian Beringer:<\/em> We take a hybrid approach: We develop the core technology ourselves. For scaling and specialized topics, we work with selected partners. This ensures that our customers benefit from stable technology while simultaneously being able to adapt flexibly. At the same time, we also offer components that we can replace, especially the Large Language Models (LLMs).
