1st place:<\/strong> With a Financing of over 85 million euros<\/a> At the beginning of August, the camping company Roadsurfer<\/strong> to first place in our monthly selection. The funds come from two separate sources: a \u20ac60 million asset-backed securities (ABS) financing from the Macquarie Group and a \u20ac25 million venture debt financing from the Spanish banking group BBVA. With the fresh capital, the Munich-based company plans to further expand its fleet of around 10,000 campers. 2nd place:<\/strong> NuuEnergy<\/strong> aims to rescue heat pump projects from chaos \u2013 with its own regional specialist companies, digital infrastructure, and AI-supported processes. Instead of quick sales, the Munich-based startup focuses on quality, customer proximity, and sustainable structures, thus aiming to drive the energy transition. Interview with Tobias Klug, Co-Founder and CEO of NuuEnergy<\/a>, attracted considerable interest and secured the young company second place in the "Startups of the Month" category for August. 3rd place:<\/strong> The Munich startup Justairtech<\/strong> is developing a refrigeration system that operates with a seemingly simple, yet previously economically unused medium: air. With innovative 3D-printed heat exchangers and a fractal design, the company claims they reduce energy consumption by up to 80 percent \u2013 thus taking an important step toward climate-neutral cooling. The target: data centers, industrial cooling, and soon, climate-friendly heating. Munich Startup readers learned more about this in an interview at the beginning of August<\/a>. 4th place:<\/strong> With a Pre-seed financing in the mid-six-figure range<\/a> secures Ciao Coffee<\/strong> fourth place in August. With its sustainable, functional iced coffee without beans, the young company aims to establish a new beverage category. The round was led by the impact angel network Better Ventures. Several business angels from the fast-moving consumer goods, e-commerce, and foodtech sectors also participated. 5th place: <\/strong>And another financing announcement makes it into the TOP 5 this month: In a Series A Tanso<\/strong> Raise 12 million euros<\/a>The round was led by international venture capitalists HenQ and Fortino Capital. Existing investors Capnamic and UVC Partners also participated again. Founded in 2021, the company offers a cloud-based software solution for environmental management, ESG data management, and compliance automation. The platform is aimed particularly at manufacturing companies that are under pressure to collect, report, and audit comprehensive sustainability key performance indicators (KPIs) due to increasing regulatory requirements\u2014such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) at the EU level.
