The Munich Startup<\/a> Pina Earth and the Austrian company Tree.ly are joining forces. The goal of the new entity is to become Europe's leading tech platform for forest climate protection projects. By combining software, project development, and sales, the companies aim to offer forest owners and corporate customers a scalable and transparent service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the companies, the merger will create a joint portfolio of over 80,000 hectares of forest land, more than 500,000 tons of CO2 from certified projects, and a network of over 100 corporate customers. Geographically, the company now covers Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Italy, and Hungary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pina Earth includes, among other things, a specially developed forest simulation software, which will be available on the Tree.ly platform<\/a> This allows projects to be implemented under various standards and methodologies such as Improved Forest Management (IFM), reforestation, or forest conversion \u2013 regardless of location or size of the forest stand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The merger creates market leadership in the DACH region. Companies benefit from an expanded portfolio of nature-based projects, a high certificate volume, and a focus on biodiversity and regionality. For forest owners, project certification is simplified and they gain access to a broader network of buyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
