With a new production and development facility in the southwest of England and a new headquarters in London, the company is strengthening its presence in the United Kingdom. The investment totals \u00a345 million, and around 90 jobs are expected to be created over the next 30 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arx developed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arx-robotics.com\/unmanned-systems\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs)<\/a> with scalable hardware and modular software architecture. The systems are already in use by the German Armed Forces, in Ukraine, and along NATO&#039;s eastern flank. They are used for reconnaissance, casualty transport, and combat support, among other purposes. The new British production facility is expected to achieve a capacity of up to 1,800 vehicles per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&quot;By establishing a production facility in Great Britain, we are not only making an economic contribution, but also strengthening the technological sovereignty of both the United Kingdom and Europe. The United Kingdom is a key player in the European security architecture and one of the European Union&#039;s closest partners. Building on our commitment in Germany and Ukraine, our goal now is to ensure Europe-wide resilience and capacity to act through modern technologies, autonomous systems, and digital warfare.&quot;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>says <strong>Marc Wietfeld<\/strong>, CEO of Arx Robotics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Arx Robotics aims to strengthen the European defense industry<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"\/en\/day\/arx-land-systems\/\">Startup<\/a> With this expansion, the company aims to strengthen European defense capabilities through technological independence. Collaboration with British partner companies \u2013 particularly innovative SMEs \u2013 is intended to create a strong industrial network. The company&#039;s systems are currently being tested with the British armed forces to adapt them to their operational requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The British Minister of Defence <strong>John Healey<\/strong> emphasizes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&quot;Arx stands for modern defense technology. I warmly welcome the \u00a345 million investment \u2013 it will create high-quality jobs while strengthening Europe&#039;s security posture. With our target of investing 2.5% of GDP in defense from 2027, we are building the UK into an industrial defense power \u2013 and are committed to innovation, partnership, and industrial strength.&quot;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to systems integration, Arx also offers technical training and logistics services. In the future, the defense technology company plans to further expand its research and development activities in the UK and develop systems precisely tailored to the operational requirements of the British armed forces. David Roberts, CEO of Arx UK, and Nick Bowler, head of mission operations, will lead the UK activities. <strong>Roberts <\/strong>explained:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&quot;I&#039;m delighted to be leading Arx&#039;s expansion in the UK.
