1st place: <\/strong>The Munich startup Futurail<\/strong> is developing an autonomous system for driverless trains that aims to make public transport more efficient and sustainable. Interview with Munich Startup<\/a> Co-founder and CEO Alex Haag explained the challenges involved: "The railway industry is highly regulated, making it complex to bring innovations to market. While safety is our top priority, certification is challenging. 2nd place:<\/strong> The real estate industry is struggling with unstructured and inaccurate building data. Alpha Prompt <\/strong>relies on AI to standardize information and make it immediately usable \u2013 without rigid standards or system changes. Founder Sven Bauer explained in Interview with Munich Startup<\/a>why this is the game changer for the industry: "Every property is unique and generates enormous amounts of data \u2013 from building plans and permits to consumption data and lease agreements to tenant communications. However, the industry struggles with a lack of standards, and even where they exist, companies often make their own adjustments. This often results in data that is incomplete, inaccurate, or difficult to access. Alpha Prompt automates precisely this: It structures, standardizes, and makes data immediately usable \u2013 without changing systems and with the necessary flexibility. 3rd place:<\/strong> Quantum Systems<\/strong> announced in March that it was theNorth Rhine-Westphalian drone company Airrobot<\/a> With this strategic acquisition, the Munich-based defense tech company is expanding its product portfolio and securing technological sovereignty for the Bundeswehr and European partners. 4th place:<\/strong> The defense tech startup Alpine Eagle<\/strong> received a Seed financing of 10.25 million euros<\/a>The round is led by IQ Capital, with participation from High-Tech Gr\u00fcnderfonds (HTGF), Expeditions Fund, and Sentris Capital. Other backers include existing investors General Catalyst and HCVC, who also supported the company's pre-seed round. With this capital injection, the defense tech company, founded in 2023 by Jan-Hendrik Boelens and Timo Breuer, plans to advance the development of its Sentinel system and expand its sales activities. Greenforce has already attracted renowned investors such as Baywa, representatives of BioNTech, and the former German head of McDonald's, Holger Beeck.
