Munich has a new program for socially and ecologically committed startups: the Munich Impact Incubator. <\/a>The incubator, which was launched by the city's economic development agency, offers innovative impact founders not only a platform to refine and further develop their ideas, but also a strong network and practical support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In October 2024, the first five teams were launched after an intensive screening: B\u00fcropiloten, Coby, Jambo, Muniqo Perfomante, Onmatter (formerly Hopfon). After the first completed batch, it is clear: incubator <\/a>has not only helped the participating startups to progress, but is also an important building block in promoting the Munich impact scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A springboard for sustainable innovations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

From the very beginning, the goal of the Munich Impact Incubator was clear: to provide founders with an environment in which they can develop sustainable, future-oriented solutions. The program supports startups not only financially but also with coworking spaces in the Munich Urban Colab, as well as targeted coaching, mentoring, and networking opportunities. Through direct access to experts from various fields, the participating teams gained helpful insights into scaling sustainable business models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A special highlight of the program was the intensive exchange among the startups themselves. One of the participants, Luca Fabiano<\/strong>, co-founder of Muniqo Performante, says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Munich Impact Incubator: The Winners <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the program, the ideas were recognized at a pitching event. There were only winners that evening, as all five teams received prizes. First place went to Muniqo Performante<\/a>, which impressed with its comprehensive concept. Second and third place went to Onmatter (HopfOn)<\/a> and Jambo<\/a>, while Coby took fourth place and the office pilots took fifth place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
