Richard Kemmerzehl, founder and managing director of Evhcle:<\/em> We operate public cargo bike sharing and develop integrated mobility solutions<\/a>, which combine e-cargo bikes, bicycles, e-bikes, and e-cars. Our customized implementation concepts are aimed at residential areas, companies, and municipalities. We offset parking spaces through sharing modules, reduce CO2<\/sub>-Emissions and land consumption and ensure practical and flexible driving pleasure!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Closing gaps in infrastructure provision<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Munich Startup:<\/em><\/strong> But that's been around for a long time! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Richard Kemmerzehl:<\/em> Many sharing offerings are limited to one vehicle type and aren't available nationwide. We focus on comprehensive mobility concepts that enable developers to plan and build cost-effectively. We combine cargo bike sharing with car and bike sharing, manage operations, and close gaps in existing infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n

Munich Startup:<\/em><\/strong> What is your founding story? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Richard Kemmerzehl: \u201c<\/em>Be the change you want to see in the world\u2026\u201d Frustration with the slow implementation of the transport transition gave rise to the idea of translating our experience in research, consulting, and product management into practical mobility solutions \u2013 and thus bringing about real change with Evhcle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Munich Startup:<\/em><\/strong> What have been your biggest challenges so far? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Richard Kemmerzehl: <\/em>Convincing our first customers that we're adept at integrating different vehicle types into customized sharing systems. With our first concept, which has been running successfully for three years, we've been able to demonstrate that it works. And perhaps meeting data protection regulations for our largest project, on the campus of the Bundeswehr University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Richard Kemmerzehl: <\/em>Within a year, we aim to have established our cargo bike sharing program throughout Munich and the surrounding area and become an indispensable partner for property developers. Our concrete goal is to have 150 cargo bikes available for our users on the streets and in residential areas. In five years, we want to be present throughout Germany with the same high standards of quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
