The topic of mobile phone use is likely a constant pain for many Bits & Pretzels visitors\u2014and beyond. By the time the weekly report appears on the screen, some people are regularly promising to improve. A startup founded in 2022 presents a solution that could really help. Minimalist Phone<\/a><\/strong> at this year's Bits & Pretzels. Once installed, the minimalist app changes the phone's user interface so that the icons disappear. \u201cWhen the icons are no longer visible, you no longer open apps like Instagram without thinking.\u201d<\/em>, explains founder Martin Moravek<\/strong> in conversation with Munich Startup. The app also has other features designed to make life more difficult for mobile phone users in a positive way: the usage times of individual apps can be restricted, apps can be blocked for longer periods, or displayed only in black and white \u2013 which makes image-driven apps like Instagram significantly less attractive. The Minimalist Phone founder primarily expects Bits to draw more attention to the topic of mobile phone use \u2013 and, of course, to his startup as well. Mybacs<\/strong><\/a> has set itself the goal of revolutionizing the health market surrounding the human microbiome. The company focuses on synbiotic dietary supplements. Why the topic of intestinal health? Luca-Sophie Compes<\/strong> von Maybacs explains: \u201cThe gut plays a central role in our overall health, whether it be our immune system, skin health, digestion or hormone production.\u201d<\/em>The Munich startup, which was founded in 2018 and has already several successful financing rounds<\/a> was pleasantly surprised: "There are a lot of people here who are interested in our product and our company. Finding, comparing and ordering car spare parts \u2013 this is what Auteon<\/a><\/strong>The Munich-based startup was founded in 2019, and the platform, as it exists today, has been in existence for two years. Auteon's target audience is automotive repair shops, who can use the Munich-based startup's product to compare automotive parts from their wholesalers. Bettina G\u00f6bel<\/strong> from Auteon<\/a> explains: "Comparing spare parts isn't that easy because dealer portals are all highly protected, and as a workshop, you have individual terms and conditions. A proper comparison portal for prices and availability hasn't existed until now. That's why we're doing it now."<\/em> This is not a simple market, as G\u00f6bel emphasizes: \u201cThe market is incredibly complex, incredibly difficult, and also a bit outdated in certain areas.\u201d<\/em> What can help? A good network. That's precisely why Auteon is represented at this year's Bits. But that's not all: they're also looking for investors: "We're planning our Series A next year and are constantly looking for connections, including strategic partners. \u201cOur mission is to bring more fairness to recruiting\u201d<\/em>, brings Anonymity<\/a><\/strong>-Founder Sandra Zemke<\/strong> clearly summarize the purpose of their startup. \u201cAnd not only that, we also want to use anonymous procedures to create more visibility for medium-sized companies and enhance the employer brand of all companies.\u201d<\/em>, she explains. The young company has been live since June of this year and is currently working on positioning itself in the market. Through Anonyfy, companies and talents should be able to get to know each other without prejudice. The Munich startup, which has already collected angel money<\/a>, is currently looking for investors\u2014also a reason for its trade fair appearance at this year's Bits & Pretzels. Zemke comments: "We're in the middle of fundraising and always looking for contacts with investors. The startup founded in 2020 June<\/a><\/strong> has developed a case management and automation platform for all legal and administrative processes for large commercial law firms and legal departments. Among other things, June's solution automates and structures workflows and uses artificial intelligence to recognize the content of legal correspondence. When asked what the Munich startup hopes to achieve with Bits & Pretzels, Axel Gillessen<\/strong> from June<\/a>: "We're here at the show to network for a Series A we plan to do next year. This is our first time at Bits, and we're delighted by the many interested visitors.
