The company has raised over 60 million euros in Series B financing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bayern Kapital, HV Capital, b2Venture, Tengelmann Ventures, Sprind, Deutsche Telekom, Earlybird Venture Capital, Athos, Primepulse, Plural Platform, and several European family offices are participating in the round. Marvel Fusion plans to use the fresh funding primarily to increase production capacity. A full proof of concept for the <a href=\"https:\/\/marvelfusion.com\/technology\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">technology<\/a> of the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marvel Fusion, founded in 2019, has developed a concept for generating fusion energy based on ultrashort pulse laser technology. <a href=\"\/en\/day\/marvel-fusion\/\">start-up companies<\/a> The nanostructured fusion fuels used are fused using this laser technology. This approach promises a higher fusion probability and eliminates challenges that have so far prevented the use of fusion energy, such as inefficient energy yield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Marvel Fusion plans fusion power plant in the next decade<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In developing the required laser technology, the startup <a href=\"\/en\/89820\/sprind-supports-laser-driven-nuclear-fusion-with-up-to-90-million-euros\/\">supported by the Federal Agency for Disruptive Innovations Sprind<\/a>In several experiments using the world&#039;s most powerful laser systems, the company was able to demonstrate the physical foundations of its concept. The startup is confident that it will be able to implement commercially viable fusion power plants for energy generation within the next decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of a public-private partnership between Colorado State University and Marvel Fusion, a high-performance laser facility is being built on the CSU Foothills Campus. The technology is scheduled to be demonstrated there by 2027. In addition, the startup has received a blended financing option of up to \u20ac17.5 million from the European Innovation Council (EIC) as part of its accelerator program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Moritz von der Linden<\/strong>, CEO of Marvel Fusion, explains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&quot;With the funds from our successful Series B financing round and the EIC&#039;s financial commitment, we are able to confirm the physical validity and feasibility of our technology according to power plant requirements.
