As part of the Medical Valley Awards, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stmwi.bayern.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology <\/a>together with a top-class jury to search for worthy business ideas in the healthcare industry. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Apply now, because submissions for the award are only possible until Thursday, June 30, 2016!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In two consecutive competition rounds, a jury selects the best concepts from across Bavaria for the Medical Valley Award. The winners of these rounds can look forward to receiving pre-seed funding of up to \u20ac500,000 for their winning concept. This capital injection is intended to help them prepare their projects for implementation.<\/p>\n<h3>Who are you?<\/h3>\n<p>We are looking for research groups from the healthcare industry who are aiming to spin off their innovative concept and who belong to one of the following research institutions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Universities<\/li>\n<li>University hospitals<\/li>\n<li>Universities of applied sciences<\/li>\n<li>Non-university research institutions, such as Fraunhofer<\/li>\n<li>Society or Max Planck Society<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What do you have to consider?<\/h3>\n<p>The following aspects must be met when applying:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A technically and scientifically particularly sophisticated and innovative product or process idea<\/li>\n<li>Proof of technological feasibility must not yet have been provided, i.e. the project must involve significant but calculable technical and scientific risks<\/li>\n<li>An intention to commercialize must be pursued<\/li>\n<li>The establishment of a company or the commencement of business activities must not yet have taken place (this is only permitted during the funding period)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How can you apply?<\/h3>\n<p>Very simple: Fill out the project outline completely and send it by<strong> June 30, 2016<\/strong> <a href=\"mailto:johanna.mathes@medical-valley-emn.de\">by email<\/a> to the organizers.<\/p>\n<h3>And then?<\/h3>\n<p>Following the submission of your project outline, an internal review and selection will take place in cooperation with the responsible technology transfer office.<\/p>\n<p>The next steps within the Medical Valley Awards will then be discussed personally with you and your team.<\/p>\n<p>You can find all further information about the Medical Valley Award here. <\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wanted: The best ideas from the healthcare industry.
