With an appearance on \u201cThe Lion\u2019s Den\u201d he makes it bye Bye<\/strong> Toe<\/strong><\/a> in our startups of the second quarter. Marie Mueller, the founder of Bye Bye Toe, has developed a thong that, according to the founder, not only "prevents the crotch from being pulled in," but is also "extremely comfortable." The so-called cameltoe effect \u2013 the optical deformation of a woman's crotch \u2013 is unpleasant and sometimes painful. The Bye Bye Toe, with its reinforcement through soft padding in the middle of the thong, is intended to remedy this. Tijen Onaran, one of the DHDL judges, was immediately enthusiastic about the product and offered the founder the requested 100,000. What initially seemed like a perfect deal fell through later: Onaran decided not to invest in Bye Bye Toe because the fashion theme did not fit into her company's strategic direction. \"Adon<\/a>
The Munich-based startup for men's health Adon Health<\/a><\/strong> successfully raised a six-figure sum in its pre-seed round, securing a spot in this ranking with this announcement. Adon Health has built a healthcare platform that offers lab tests, physician consultations, medication delivery, and therapy management with a focus on testosterone replacement therapies for men. It is designed to enable patients to manage their care digitally and in one place, making it significantly less complex and time-consuming than the current standard. The startup doesn't want to limit itself to testosterone replacement therapies. In the future, Adon Health plans to offer additional digital healthcare services and preventative medicine for men. \"Loremo\"<\/a>
Gallery owner and founder Franziska Scheuerle proves that the Munich startup scene can also serve the luxury segment. With her platform Loremo<\/a><\/strong> Companies and private customers can order customized works of art using an algorithm-based configurator. The exclusive, one-of-a-kind pieces can be customized to match the colors of the existing interior and the customer's personality. The business model involves matching interested parties with suitable artists, for which Loremo then receives a portion of the purchase price. During an appearance on the fifth episode of the current season of "Die H\u00f6hle der L\u00f6wen" (The Lion's Den), three investors expressed interest in the Munich-based art startup. EMS training, or training with electrical muscle stimulation technology, has long been offered by specialized fitness studios. However, the experience leaves much to be desired: "For a 20-minute workout, I had to spend 30 minutes traveling there and back. The large glass fronts made me feel like I was being showcased in a shop window. The preparation, which involved wiring and spraying someone else's suit with water, was tiresome, and it was very expensive," recalls Emilia von Keyserlingk, founder of the Munich startup. Pepper<\/a><\/strong>With her company, she wants to do better and brings EMS training into the home. And last but not least, Ecoplanet<\/a><\/strong> a place in the ranking. The startup was founded in 2022 by Maximilian Dekorsy and Henry Keppler. It now has a 35-person team, operates from offices in Munich and Berlin, and has raised a total of six million euros in capital since March 2023.
