Three years after its market launch, Avi Medical operates a network of modern, technology-supported general practices in Munich, Hamburg, Berlin and Stuttgart<\/a>With Avi Heart, the startup is now expanding its offerings with its first targeted care program. Part of this growth is the acquisition of iAtros, which has developed a telemedicine solution that enables data-driven treatment for cardiology patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avi Heart combines the medical spectrum of Avi Medical with the virtual comprehensive care of iAtros. The program is primarily aimed at patients with cardiovascular diseases or metabolic syndromes, the classic common diseases. Additional modules for the comprehensive care of patients with other chronic diseases are planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vlad Lata<\/strong>, CEO and Co-Founder of Avi Medical, explains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"Avi Medical's goal is to completely rethink the healthcare model. We firmly believe that every patient should have a personalized healthcare plan and, ideally, be monitored from home with the appropriate smart devices so that physicians can make the right treatment decisions remotely. At the same time, we want to empower patients to take action themselves. By integrating iAtros, we are realizing this vision in a first fully-fledged version and bringing a product to market that gives our physicians the ability to manage thousands of additional patients without having to leave their practice."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Dr. Alexander Leber<\/strong>, Director and Chief Physician of the Isar Heart Center and Clinic for Cardiology and co-founder of iAtros, commented on the takeover:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the complete digitalization of primary standard care, Avi Medical has reached the next level of its corporate development. A key component of the digital transformation is the collaboration between doctors and the fully automated digital co-pilots in the practice.
