Vive la Intelligence Artificielle<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cAt the core of everything you see, hear, and experience here is AI.\u201d With these words, Maurice L\u00e9vy, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Publicis Group, and Pierre Louette, CEO of the Groupe Les Echos Les Parisien, opened Vivatech 2024. Because this year, of course, everything in Paris is about artificial intelligence. This is not only evident in the halls, where, according to the two, 40 percent of all showcases come from the AI sector. AI is also a constant topic on the numerous stages at Vivatech, with top-class speakers from companies such as OpenAI, Meta, Mistral, Baidu, Google, Nvidia, Adobe, and others sharing their knowledge. Live politics<\/strong> \u2013 Politics will also be strongly represented at Vivatech, not only in the form of Marina Ferrari, French Minister of State for Digitalization, who will praise President Macron's economic policy and present some of her successes. Under the heading "Bullet Train to the Future," this year's partner country will also be presenting itself. Japan<\/a> Kazuchika Iwata, Minister of State at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, not only brought a glimpse into the long-standing French-Japanese friendship, but also a video message from Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. He then handed the microphone to Manabu Miyasaka, Vice Governor and CIO of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, who enthused about a collaboration between Vivatech and Sushitech. Live the car<\/strong> \u2013 If you didn't know better, you might mistake Vivatech for an automobile exhibition. Not only did Tesla exhibit numerous models at the show, but Peugeot and Audi also showcased concept vehicles. But it's not just the car manufacturers that are strongly represented at the trade fair. In fact, numerous large corporations are participating in Vivatech with their own booths, and not just the usual suspects like AWS, Google, Meta, Microsoft, and others. Airbus, Axa, BNP Paribas, JCDecaux, L'Oreal, Siemens, LVMH, Nvidia, Orange, and many others are also present. Live the pitch<\/strong> In addition to the company booths, the two exhibition halls also house nine stages and the booths of 40 countries. From Belgium to the Netherlands and Ukraine to Senegal, Brazil, Canada, and Korea, not only the European but also the global tech scene converges here. The French-German Tech Lab is all about technological and academic cooperation between France and Germany.
