1st place:<\/strong> With an appearance on \u201cThe Lion\u2019s Den\u201d he makes it bye Bye<\/strong> Toe<\/strong> took first place among the startups of the month in April. Marie Mueller, the founder of Bye Bye Toe, has developed a thong that, according to the founder, not only "prevents the crotch from being pulled in," but is also "super comfortable." The so-called cameltoe effect\u2014the visual deformation of a woman's crotch\u2014is unpleasant and sometimes painful. The Bye Bye Toe, with its reinforced soft padding in the middle of the thong, is intended to remedy this. Tijen Onaran, one of the DHDL judges, is immediately enthusiastic about the product<\/a> and offered the founder the requested 100,000. What initially seemed like a perfect deal fell through later: Onaran decided not to invest in Bye Bye Toe after all, as the fashion theme did not fit into her company's strategic direction. \"Adon<\/a>
2nd place:<\/strong> The Munich-based startup for men's health Adon Health<\/strong> collects in his Pre-seed round successfully raised a six-figure sum<\/a> and, with this announcement, also secures second place in this ranking. Adon Health has built a healthcare platform that offers lab tests, doctor consultations, medication delivery, and therapy management with a focus on testosterone replacement therapies for men. It is designed to enable patients to manage their care digitally and in one place, making it significantly less complex and time-consuming than the current standard. The startup doesn't want to limit itself to testosterone replacement therapies. \"Climedo\"<\/a>
3rd place: <\/strong>The Munich-based healthtech company, founded in 2017 Climedo<\/strong> offers a solution with hybrid capabilities for clinical trials and real-time insights. With its patient-centric approach and the continuous delivery of data insights and visualizations on current study progress, Climedo enables its customers to better communicate with medical professionals and other opinion leaders. The startup was able to continue growing thanks to its successful funding at the end of 2021. \"Quantum<\/a>
4th place:<\/strong> In April, the Munich drone manufacturer opened Quantum Systems<\/strong> another location in Ukraine. Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck also attended the opening<\/a>Quantum Systems' Vector reconnaissance drones have been in operation in Ukraine since May 2022. To date, the company says it has provided 212 systems through the upgrade initiative. By the end of the year, this number is expected to more than double to a total of 500 reconnaissance drones. The new site is intended to expand the annual delivery capacity of reconnaissance drones to up to 1,000 and ensure spare parts production. 5th place:<\/strong> As was announced at the beginning of the month, Eoplanet<\/strong> Secure \u20ac3.5 million. The Munich-based startup, founded in 2022 by Maximilian Dekorsy and Henry Keppler, enables its corporate customers to optimize their electricity consumption. Given fluctuating electricity prices, consumption is concentrated on times with lower prices. The Ecoplanet platform uses analytics and artificial intelligence to help companies become pioneers of the energy transition and support them in implementing sustainable energy management strategies.
