Last week, Economics Minister Habeck opened the company&#039;s new production facility during a delegation visit. Also present were Ukrainian Minister of Strategic Industry Oleksandr Kamyshin and Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Ivan Hawryliuk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quantum Systems&#039; Vector reconnaissance drones have been in operation in Ukraine since May 2022. To date, the company says it has provided 212 systems through the upgrade initiative. By the end of the year, this number is expected to more than double to a total of 500 reconnaissance drones. The new site is intended to expand the annual delivery capacity of reconnaissance drones to up to 1,000 and ensure spare parts production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quantum Systems already operates a service, support, training, and logistics center in Ukraine with 25 Ukrainian employees. They train drone pilots and implement technological advancements directly on-site into the reconnaissance systems. At the new facility, the company plans to <a href=\"\/en\/startups\/quantum-systems-gmbh\/\">drone manufacturers<\/a>, to employ around 100 people by the end of the year. The company plans to invest up to six million euros in the new location over the next two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Florian Seibel<\/strong>, founder and CEO of Quantum Systems, commented on the new opening:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&quot;Ukraine has trusted our reconnaissance systems since the beginning of the war.
