The goal is to increase the use of renewable energy through energy storage while simultaneously extending the life cycle of car batteries. This reduces dependence on fossil fuels and enables longer battery life, contributing to the success of the energy transition. With its innovative, integrable technology, the company is setting a new standard in the design, safety, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and handling of battery storage systems.<\/p>\n<p>First choice for second life<\/p>\n<p>STABL&#039;s technology can connect batteries with varying residual capacities to the public power grid, even in large quantities, without the need for a central inverter. The advantages of this innovative technology are manifold: Second-life storage systems made from discarded electric car batteries are a promising way to extend the lifespan of batteries and reduce their ecological footprint. Second-life batteries can also help reduce the costs of renewable energy and improve the integration of solar and wind power into the power grid. STABL has implemented initial projects together with partners in Germany and Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p>STABL was founded in 2019 by Dr. Arthur Singer, Dr. Nam Truong, Martin Sprehe, and Christoph Dietrich, four visionary engineers from the Technical University of Munich, the Bundeswehr University Munich, and Osnabr\u00fcck University of Applied Sciences. Since then, the startup has experienced significant growth: Starting with a small group of founders, the company now employs nearly 30 permanent employees and around 20 student
