Next-Generation Cybersecurity: We offer an innovative solution for accessing applications, cloud services, and devices in the Internet of Things (IoT) that is more secure and user-friendly than traditional VPN and firewall systems. We leverage blockchain and a concept called Software Defined Perimeter, which enables internet-connected devices and applications to be not only better protected but also invisible without successful authentication. This provides IT system administrators with a straightforward solution for monitoring, evaluating, and adjusting access permissions in networks. Our solution is particularly aimed at security-relevant applications that will become increasingly important in the future, such as cloud services, networked machines and robots, and IoT solutions.
This startup is no longer active in the Munich startup ecosystem.
Reasons for this may be:
- Dissolution or takeover of the company
- Relocation from Munich
- Change in the business model
Digitalization and megatrends like the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, ubiquitous computing, and smart home not only bring advantages but also cause complex risks and challenges. Existing solutions (eg firewall and VPN) are simply not made for that and professional cybercrime exploits their weaknesses as 'WannaCry' or 'NotPetya' show exemplarily. Thus, cybersecurity is one of the biggest challenges that humanity faces in our ever-connected world. We at qbound re-think cybersecurity. We enable organizations to securely access (cloud) services and IoT devices, while reducing administrative efforts and perceiving employees' privacy.
