“Empowering Entrepreneurs!” is the vision of the LMU Entrepreneurship Centers (LMU EC), which aims to train the entrepreneurial leaders of the future, actively support the establishment of successful businesses, and promote a culture of entrepreneurial thinking and action.
Community
The LMU EC connects and inspires over 22,000 people interested in founding a company, including at extraordinary events such as Leading Entrepreneurs, CASHWALK and Co-Founder Match.
LMU EC Accelerator
During the four-month accelerator program, LMU EC provides startups from LMU and beyond with individual coaching and mentoring opportunities, access to a network of hundreds of investors, and contact with 320+ alumni startups and corporate clients. Furthermore, founders have the opportunity to take advantage of partner offers, such as free legal advice, and network at major events such as Leading Entrepreneurs and Germany's largest pitch event, CASHWALK.
Some of the most famous startups include Flixbus, Foodora, Y-Food and Grillido.
Each semester, the LMU EC 15+ accepts new teams into the program. Founders and their teams can apply at: lmu-ec-accelerator.de.

The Teaching Department offers teaching and training opportunities, such as entrepreneurship courses for all LMU students. It also offers seminars for researchers, staff, and partners. Through teaching, practice-oriented entrepreneurial know-how is imparted to over 1,600 people annually.
