Pathology 4.0® – the laboratory of the future
Founded in Munich in 2017, inveox GmbH develops systems for digitizing and automating sample receipt in histopathology and for networking pathology laboratories and treating physicians.
Time-consuming, highly manual laboratory processes in pathology are expensive, error-prone, and the most common cause of misdiagnoses. inveox has developed an innovative solution for the capture, receipt, and preparation of histopathological laboratory samples. The system consists of an intelligent sample container, an automated sample receipt machine, and an online platform for data transfer between the treating physician and the laboratory. With digitized, fully automated, and networked histopathology, inveox aims to improve the safety and reliability of cancer diagnoses while increasing laboratory efficiency and profitability and unlocking the potential for personalized diagnostics based on big data and artificial intelligence.
Since its founding, inveox has won numerous awards and was a finalist in the Digital Start-up of the Year 2020 award from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, the EIT Health Award 2019, the German Innovation Award 2019 and the World Health Summit Award 2018. The young company made it onto the Forbes list of "Most Promising Startups 2018", has been a member of the World Economic Forum since 2019 and has already been featured in articles and reports in various renowned print media such as Handelsblatt and Wirtschaftswoche.
With offices in Krakow (Poland) and Houston (Texas, USA), the startup now has over 100 team members.
