Fluxunit is OSRAM’s venture capital unit based in Munich.
The Fluxunit aims to make new, innovative business models available to OSRAM. To achieve this, the investor invests in innovative early-stage startups with minority stakes. The prerequisite for an investment is that the startups have at least an indirect connection to OSRAM and that the Fluxunit can contribute not only financial resources but also know-how (be it lighting, IP know-how, or development expertise) that creates added value for the startups.
Fluxunit invests in scalable business models in the areas of Novel Hydroculture Systems, Advanced Sensor Applications, Digital Infrastructure Solutions, Future Mobility Solutions and Light Beyond Illumination.
