Founded in 2019, EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union. EIT Urban Mobility is Europe's largest network in the field of sustainable urban mobility. Our mission is to accelerate the transition towards a sustainable model of urban mobility and liveable urban spaces. We bring together public and private actors and provide them with access to markets, talent, financing and knowledge.
EIT Urban Mobility supports startups from build to scale through various programs and targeted seed investments ranging from €50,000 to €500,000. Since 2020, more than 350 startups have already been supported and a portfolio of 127 companies from more than 29 countries in Europe and associated countries has been built.
In 2023, EIT Urban Mobility was recognized by Via ID and Dealroom as the most active investor in European mobility start-ups.
