Differential Bio is a Munich-based biotech startup founded by Martin (Software & AI), Dong (Microbiology & HTS), and Christian (Business & Bioinformatics). They are developing a virtual screening platform that uses scale-down experiments and AI-driven models to optimize growth conditions and bioprocesses for microbial growth and production. This drastically increases R&D efficiency and improves fermentation outcomes such as yield, costs, and product quality.
In the long term, they aim to become “The Organism Modeling Company” and thus the standard for in silico bioprocess optimization, from the early R&D phase to large-scale production.
