Every 8th person in Germany is overwhelmed by complicated texts and needs easily understandable texts in order not to be excluded from important information in everyday life.
The SUMM team – consisting of graduates from the Technical University of Munich – has therefore developed “Google Translate” for Easy Language: An AI-supported tool that automatically translates any text into Easy Language – a defined language style with a simple sentence structure and additional explanations that is understandable for everyone.
