About the speakers:

EJ Dieterle, YES Partners Inc
EJ Dieterle is CEO of YES Partners (Global Executive Search) and has been in Silicon Valley since 2002. Previously, he was Managing Director in London, Tokyo, Seoul, and the USA for companies with 270+ employees. He holds an MBA and is an alumnus of IMD Lausanne. EJ is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and the Silicon Valley Directors Exchange (SVDX) at UC Stanford, as well as the Venture Capital Executive Program at UC Berkeley. He is a speaker at VC Taskforce, the Northern California Human Resources Association (NCHRA), Nihon University in Tokyo, and DeVry University/Keller Graduate School of Management. EJ also lectures for the German American Business Association (GABA) and is a mentor for HR & Recruiting for the German Accelerators. EJ works as a board director, advisor and angel investor for startups in medical device, technology and media and has been a speaker at the workshop 'Market Entry & More Success in the USA' for over 10 years.

John Gosch, Prager Metis CPAs LLC
John Gosch is a partner at Prager Metis CPAs LLC, Certified Public Accountants. He focuses on the expansion of international companies into the United States. He has over 30 years of international experience and originally began his career at Ernst & Young. Among other roles, John has served as a finance director for companies in the US and Europe and was actively involved in the initial public offerings of several technology companies. John holds an MBA from Pennsylvania State University and a BS from Lehigh University. John is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of California and New York.

Reinhard Häckl, Häckl Treuhand GmbH Tax Consulting Company
Reinhard Häckl is a tax advisor, auditor, legal counsel, and specialist in international tax law. Mr. Häckl is the managing director of Häckl und Partner GmbH, a tax consulting firm in Landsberg and Munich. Mr. Häckl has been self-employed for 35 years and specializes in advising medium-sized companies, venture capital firms, and international tax planning and accounting. He is also a member of INPACT (International Association of Auditors) and the Finance and Services Committee of the Munich Chamber of Industry and Commerce, as well as a coach and juror for the Munich Business Plan Competition.

Achim W. Hoelzle is admitted to the bar in both California and Germany and has more than 17 years of professional experience in venture capital, private equity, M&A, business law, and technology transfer in commercial transactions between US and German-speaking parties. He advises local Silicon Valley start-ups in the high-tech, life science, and media sectors on their formation, corporate financing, and exit. Erich Spensberger, Bavarian State Tax Office, BayLfSt
Erich Spensberger holds a degree in tax law from the Bavarian State Tax Office and is a consultant in the specialist audit department, which, together with foreign specialist auditors, participates in tax audits of international corporations and medium-sized companies throughout Bavaria to review foreign transactions. Erich is also a lecturer in international tax law at the Bavarian University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration and Legal Affairs and a lecturer at IStR training seminars for Bavarian tax auditors and at the Federal Finance Academy.
