What it's about:
Product innovation, process innovation, technology innovation, business model innovation – innovation is the key driver of your company's competitiveness. How much strength and capability does your company have to continuously innovate and survive in the competition? Are you better than the average in your industry? Or are you better than your strongest competitors? How can you assess this?
The lecture will introduce you to the four chapters 'Innovation Culture', 'Innovation Map', 'Innovation Organization' and 'Innovation Process' from your dilemma. You will learn how to create transparency about your own innovation capabilities and how to identify potential for improvement using concrete key performance indicators and competitive comparisons.
Using concrete examples, the key factors of innovation in companies are highlighted and possibilities for assessing innovation capability are shown.
About the speakers:
Dr.-Ing. Dipl. Kfm Daniel Groos is a department head and innovation team leader at Whiteblue Consulting GmbH. He has founded several startups and served as managing director of Microsport for 10 years. During this time, he also established a production site in China. Since 2012, he has held a senior position at Whiteblue Consulting, where he oversees innovation projects for large corporations. He is also active in the European startup scene as a coach and mentor.
Simone Taugner holds a Master of Arts in Sports Science. Ms. Taugner has been working for management consultancies since the beginning of 2008. As a senior consultant with many years of practical experience, her focus is on advising and supporting clients in innovation, project, and requirements management, as well as operational and strategic process management. She is also responsible for innovation management within internal corporate development. She has gained valuable project experience in the automotive, satellite/antenna technology, banking, and insurance sectors.
