Every year on the last Thursday in November, TUM and UnternehmerTUM host the TUM IDEAward, the annual awards ceremony for the ideas competition of the same name, supported by the Zeidler Research Foundation.
Ten startup teams are waiting to present their exciting and innovative ideas and/or technologies to the audience on this day. They were pre-selected by a panel of experts from countless competition submissions and made it to the final round of ten finalists.
At the end of the competition, the three most promising startup ideas from the scientific community that demonstrate significant market potential will be honored. They can look forward to prize money totaling €37,500.
In addition to exciting idea pitches, the stage program is accompanied annually by keynote speakers, startup Q&A sessions, and the celebratory awards ceremony. The networking session following the event also offers another opportunity to interact live with the teams and numerous representatives of the TUM & UnternehmerTUM ecosystem.
