SEA:Start Workshop

Do you want to change the world and earn a living doing so?
But you still don’t have the right idea?

Then come to the two-day SEA:start workshop and learn how to use an entrepreneurial approach to develop innovative solutions for societal, social and ecological challenges – on topics related to climate and the environment, resource efficiency, inclusion and social issues.

In this interdisciplinary workshop, you'll gain expertise in setting up, implementing, and scaling social enterprises. You'll be guided through a design thinking process to develop your own innovative ideas.

The content learned includes:

Definitions of social entrepreneurship in Germany and worldwide.

Analysis of social problems along the triple bottom line.

Business models of social enterprises.

Special features of hybrid organizational forms and their possible forms of financing.

Measuring and communicating the social impact of a social enterprise and embedding it in current reporting standards.

Scaling strategies and growth forms of social enterprises.

Development of our own socially effective and financially viable solutions.
