At Impact Hub, we develop frameworks, attitudes, processes, and methods for successful reorientation in the business and working world. By challenging and redefining existing ideas and structures, we aim to demonstrate that entrepreneurship can be tailored to different projects and needs and integrated into diverse life realities. Successful examples in our community demonstrate this every day.
On March 23, 2023, at "Reinventing Entrepreneurship," you'll meet female entrepreneurs from our community. We're looking forward to hearing stories that transcend traditional startup narratives and demonstrate that entrepreneurship is transformative and can offer women* and mothers a great opportunity for a self-determined working life.
Over the past three years, we have supported a total of 60 mothers on their journey to self-employment or business start-up as part of the New Root program. Women*, and especially mothers, face unique challenges when starting a business – often rooted in multiple discrimination and structural inequalities such as greater family involvement, limited risk-taking opportunities, less developed business networks, and difficult access to financing. In our work, we support women* and mothers in using these limited options as an opportunity to explore new paths with us and develop their own understanding of successful entrepreneurship.
