What is the current state of Germany as a location for innovation? What strengths and challenges currently shape innovation in this country??
The Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria cordially invites you to the presentation of the current report by the Expert Commission for Research and Innovation (EFI). After the report will be presented to Chancellor Angela Merkel on February 15, a presentation for the interested public will follow on the same date in Munich.
Prof. Dietmar Harhoff, Chairman of the Expert Commission for Research and Innovation (EFI), will present the current report and then discuss the results with the participants.
The new EFI report focuses on:
– current challenges for German research and innovation policy
– Options for tax incentives for research and innovation
– Digital transformation
The concrete significance of the results for Upper Bavaria will also be discussed. There will be opportunities for networking during the breakfast. The expert commission was established by the federal government in 2006 to consolidate the broad discourse on innovation research and provide scientifically based advice to policymakers. The annual EFI reports shed light on current challenges for innovation policy and address core topics relevant to the German research and innovation landscape.
