DESCRIPTION:Introduction:\nPlug and Play Insurtech Munich will celebrate its first Focus Week with a Kickoff Meetup at the Goldberg Studios in Munich. Please join us for an evening with Startups Pitches\, a Startup Fair as well as Drinks and Dinner-Snacks. We are assuming about 200 participants. \nAgenda (tentative):\n17: 00 – Opening / Gate open\n17: 30 – Opening remarks by Plug and Play Insurtech\n17: 35 – Keynote\n17: 50 – Pitches\n18: 40 – Closing remarks\n18: 45 – Startup Fair & Networking Event\n21: 00 – End \nPlease register via Eventbrite. As there are limited seats\, everyone who wants to sit up please come early. Depending on participation situation\, there is a possibility of standing. \nPlug and Play:\nPlug and Play is the world’s largest accelerator and one of Silicon Valley’s most active venture capital investors with a legacy of investments in companies such as PayPal\, DropBox and Lending Club. \nIn 2016 we launched the plattform Plug and Play Insurtech and over the last year we have built an entrepreneurial ecosystem in partnership with over 50 Insurance Providers including USAA\, State Farm\, Allianz\, Munich Re\, AIG and Travelers. \nWith the mission to better serve the need of our corporate partners in their home markets\, to explore new startup ecosystems and to connect the leading insurance companies and ventures of Europe to Silicon Valley and the world\, Plug and Play Insurtech Munich was established in November 2017. \nOur top priority has been to globalize the entrepreneurial ecosystem that has become synonymous with Silicon Valley and to continue the development of a world-class ecosystem made up of industry-leading startups\, VCs\, corporate executives and thought leaders pushing insurance into the digital future.
