According to the Female Founders Monitor (FFM), the proportion of female startup founders in Germany is only 20 percent. In the area of capital, there is a clear “gender gap” with regard to the lack of access to angel investors and the funding amounts for female startups. On average, male teams received almost nine times more venture capital in 2022.
Hamburg Investors Network wants to change that with the “Female StartAperitivo”. We are very proud, that this year, ONE MISSION powered by InsurTech Hub Munich will represent Munich and gives female founders the stage to present themselves in front of investors and a large audience – worldwide!
