Online: Crisis Management for Startups *UPDATE#1*

Crisis management for startups *UPDATE#1*: What rescue packages are coming and how do I prepare for them?

Last week we already gave a first insight into the topic of crisis management for startups.

Many forms of government support are now being called for, announced, and in some cases even implemented in the media. Whether it's emergency aid, subsidized loans, matching funds, or the BayernFonds, many topics are currently being discussed. In the first BayStartUP UPDATE webinar, we want to give you our initial assessment of which measures are appropriate for whom and when they will (likely) take effect.

Whatever the measure, thorough preparation for startups is essential – an aspect that is often overlooked. Tailored financial planning and clear statements about the current status are just as important as a clear plan for "afterward."

Therefore, we will cover the following topics:

  • What protective shields are available for startups?
  • What fits when and which solutions are still being worked on?
  • Who can help me (tax advisors, customers, partners, investors)?
  • How does the collaboration with existing investors look?
  • What are my current chances of finding new investors?
  • How can I prepare myself?
  • How do I adapt my liquidity planning to the current circumstances?
  • What expenses can I afford? How do I get an overview? How do I set priorities and decide what to spend money on? Where do I start now?
  • Do I have room to maneuver on the revenue side? Does the crisis perhaps even offer special opportunities?
