The COVID-19 pandemic has presented us with new challenges. At the same time, a crisis always brings opportunities. This is especially true for digitalization in healthcare.
Especially during the lockdown, we have been able to report numerous novel developments and innovations. Given the current situation, we have decided to hold the Digital Health Summit, a collaboration between TUM, LMU, and UnternehmerTUM, in a purely digital format this year.
Right now, it is particularly important for us as organizers to send a positive signal that we remain highly interested in the progress of science and, in particular, the technological advancement and digitalization of healthcare, and that we are willing to catalyse this.
We are pleased to have secured high-profile speakers from a wide range of fields, from the Charité to politicians. Together, we will discuss and exchange ideas on COVID-19 as a digital challenge, particularly for university medicine.
