The production of agricultural raw materials and food contributes significantly to CO2 emissions. For this reason, all related industrial sectors will be particularly affected by the consequences of climate change in the future. The overarching goal must therefore be to make the entire food value chain more sustainable. Relevant measures and levers range from the field to the restaurant industry and the food retail sector. However, in many areas, the question arises as to how exactly the term sustainability should be interpreted and which strategies are most promising.
The Munich Food Convention 2023 aims to bring together decision-makers, experts and innovators from all areas of the value chain and jointly identify the greatest opportunities for sustainability in the food value chain.
