In this edition of Meet the City, the City of Munich and CIRCULAR REPUBLIC provide an insight into the circular economy.
The future belongs to the circular economy! The reuse and recycling of products conserves natural resources and reduces the destruction of landscapes and habitats. The principles of the circular economy are therefore already being applied in many areas in the state capital.
In the first edition of "Meet the City" 2024, we will provide exciting insights into the field of sustainable innovations in the City of Munich and the Munich Urban Colab community. A highlight of the event will be the presentation of the study on the environmental economy in the Munich region, commissioned by the Department of Labor and Economic Development. The study focuses, among other things, on the circular economy market segment. The city's Zero Waste Office will report on innovative projects on circular processes with Munich's business community.
We're also delighted that UnternehmerTUM's CIRCULAR REPUBLIC initiative is presenting the key findings of this year's Circular Economy Startup Landscape: How has the circular economy startup world evolved since last year? Who are the "new kids on the block"? And which startups are the rising stars of the circular economy scene?
With the event series “Meet the City”, the City of Munich regularly offers insights into new urban projects at the Munich Urban Colab and seeks exchange with the Munich Urban Colab community, interested citizens and all those interested in a livable city of the future.
