Almost all countries in Europe are complaining about a severe shortage of skilled workers: there is a shortage of employees, especially in the IT sector, but also in healthcare, skilled trades, and the hospitality and catering industries. The Munich Metropolitan Region is also competing with other European regions to attract international skilled workers.
