Almost all countries in Europe are complaining about a severe shortage of skilled workers: there is a shortage of employees, especially in the IT sector, but also in healthcare, skilled trades, and the hospitality and catering industries. The Munich Metropolitan Region is also competing with other European regions to attract international skilled workers.

The discussion focuses on:

  • Best practice examples from Munich companiesWhat challenges and advantages do employers face? How can integration be achieved within the company? What experiences and recommendations are there for other companies looking to hire international specialists?
  • International professionals in Munich: What is the current situation? What framework conditions and services are available? What opportunities and limitations exist? Where is there a need for action for the future?
